If you want to avoid this outcome then do not go anywhere near an Irish lake, Irish rainbows, forests and do not say "Ghoid tú mo cáca milis" or "Ghlac mé saighead chun na glúine".

You need to ask for some time to think of your wish. Once the lazy leprechaun's back is turned, quickly and noiselessly stab him in the back of the head with the horn. And that is how you kill a leprechaun. (Warning! If you are after his gold do not kill him, once he is dead his gold turns to coal.)
