The EOD Bot is equipped with a repair torch, but just like the engineers handheld repair torch, it can be used to kill people, simply sneak up on an unsuspecting foe and hold down the trigger, this is tricky to do as most people will run away immediately (the EOD Bot is very slow) so try this against a prone recon, it will take him a while to get up if he is using a bipod.
In Battlefield 3, EOD could refer to the EOD Bot, an unlockable bomb-disposal robot for the Engineer multiplayer class. The robot allows the player to arm or disarm M-COM station charges in Rush and Squad Rush multiplayer modes, repair friendly vehicles or damage the enemy's vehicles and diffuse enemy explosives, such as C4 charges or claymore mines. EOD is an acronym for Explosive Ordinance Disposal.
