Brazilian currency is the Real. The "cruzeiro" was a former currency. I don't know the current rate for the Real, something like 1.8 reais for one dollar.

The term "American Eagle" is used only for modern bullion coins. Your 1942 coin is likely a Walking Liberty half dollar, but with out a denomination, I don't know. Post new question.

One dollar each. Its tricky math, I know, but you get used to it. 2 American dollars equals two dollars, and 5 American dollars equals 5.05 dollars.
