Faith. Lets think logically. Jesus was an actual person. Forget the miracles for a minute. Jesus was a teacher. He lived his life as an example for us to copy. He lived a truthful life, denounced lies, and he did not just say it He lived it. He claimed "The Father" forgives sins through the Son. Somebody that lives the way he did, does not lie. If He says The Father forgives sins through The Son then you can take it to the bank as being reliable.
Jesus gave the Apostle the power to heal and not the power to forgive sins. Because if the Apostles can forgive sins, what would be the significance of Jesus dying on the cross?
Jesus heals our bodies. He helps in difficult times emotionally. He forgave our sins.
Because of the faith of his friends. The paralyzed man's friends had faith that Jesus would heal him. Jesus honored their faith and healed the man, forgiving his sins, much to the objections of the Jewish officials.
He would heal them and forgive them their sins; the same as he did when he lived on earth - (Luke 5.17 to 26)
Jesus has washed all our sins away.
Yes, Jesus can forgive you for your sins.
Jesus Christ is the only one that can forgive sins. Because Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, he was able to die in our place on the cross. We should have been the one to pay for our sins, but Jesus did it. He said it is finished. He can forgive our sins if we repent of our sins and put our faith in the work that Jesus completed on the cross.
You must repent of your sins , and believe that Jesus did die for your sins on the cross.
When Jesus died for our sins, salvation was made possible.
It means handing over your sins and failures to him. It also means getting to know Jesus and spending time with him.
We can know that we are the daughter or sons of God because Jesus dies for our sins when we are still sinners and redeemed from our eternal sins and punishment. We know that Jesus is our personal Saviour. We have been baptized; our old life has been gone and now is a new creation and a new life in Christ.
Because he died to forgive us of our sins and it as all in gods plan.
