I am not certain that they are a legitimate company. I was required to do tests and I provided services for them concerning a client. Ultimately, I was asked to lay out seven grand on my credit card to cover the cost of a leasing purchase for their "European" client.
When I advised them I was not in a position to do this... they disappeared. No phone calls or emails were returned. There were no explanations offered.
I am still a bit confused.

You just ask the person the name of his insurance company. If you have a legitimate need to know, there is no reason for them not to give it to you. If you have no legitimate claim, then they need not give you their insurance information.

The "Excelsior Loan Guild" is not a legitimate finance company. There are several reports of scams based in Africa that include this name.Do not divulge any personal information to them, or to anyone you don't know and trust.
They are the worst company I have ever dealt with with. I would'nt recomend them to anyone I know. I agree- They are a scam company and will require a 10% deposit to get any loan and then never give it to you Beware!!!!
