Your navel ring should not be changed for 6 weeks after being pierced. You should wait for 6 weeks because this will give the piercing enough time to stabilize enough to change the jewelry. Changing the jewelry too early can cause problems such as irritation, infection and scarring.

Well, if you feel lucky, y0u can change it after 6 weeks, question is: Do you feel lucky???? The navel piercing takes the longest to heal of all the piercings.....Over a year to completely build the scar tunnel, we usually tell our clients to wait 3 - 4 months before changing theirs, unless they come back and let us do it for them...Hope this helps...
