Eye Discharge
Normal Cavies excrete a milky white liquid which lubricates their eyes and is used to help them clean their faces. After the eye fills up with the white fluid, the cavy will then take their front paws and make washing motions. This may happen several times per day although you may never even notice. VC Richardson describes a "milky ocular discharge" as "a normal fluid which is released from the eye as part of the grooming process."
There are many signs of infection. Usually, an infection will be red and inflamed, depending on the location of the infection in the eye, there can be drainage or discharge in varying colors.
Its a liquid but its normal[Edited by XxXhiXxX] A.K.A: pee, wee, piddle and that ;)
Nothing... just that it has a white ear. One of its parents is probably white or has white patches of fur.
To see what your guinea pig's eye colour is you just need to look at his/her eyes in sunlight. That's how I found out my guinea pigs Elvis and Jerry-Lee both have brown eyes. -Gamegirl494 Just to update Jerry-Lee died yesterday Sept 24 2009 from an infection and he was only one and a half years old born in Dec 2007 :'( Jrpetkeeper: Guinea Pigs can have black, blue, brown, purple or red.
no is is not. you need to take it to the vet quick. it is not good it may mean it is ill. it doest matter a lot about the eyes.
Your rabbit ate paint, idiot.
Does cloudy eyes mean that the guinea pig is sick?

What do you mean by "whites"? Whites of the eyes? If that is the case, then sometimes yes. You might be able to see a little bit of the white part of a guinea pig's eyes. A guinea pig can also have a condition called "pea eye" or "fatty eye" where the lower lid sags and exposes the lower part of the eyeball and underneath the eye. Fatty eye is usually not a problem and will not hurt the pig.
