Your general impression of the place is a good place to start. Past that, ask them if they have an autoclave. This is the machine that sterilizes needles, jewelry, equipment, etc. If they do not have one, chances are it's a pretty shady establishment.
But having an autoclave does not a clean tattoo make.
The place should not smell like anything but Bactine, ink, and surface cleaner.
Surfaces should be uncluttered, dust-free, and smooth.
I've said this in other posts, and I'll say it many more I'm sure:
A tattoo is a wound. It should be treated like a wound.
A tattoo parlor, then, should be as clean as a doctor's office.
No matter what state you live in, all safe, clean, and reputable tattoo parlors will require you to be eighteen before getting a tattoo, or have a parent come with you when you get your tattoo. If you get a tattoo from a non-reputable place, you run the risk of infection or the art being subpar. It's best - both aesthetically and medically - to wait to get a tattoo until you are eighteen.
You don't but if you don't know the difference between 'no' and 'know' and you can't even spell 'tattoo',I would strongly advise you stay away from potentially dangerous places like tattoo parlours and try frequenting your local library or remedial English classes instead.
Tattoo shop, tattoo parlor
i don't know, but i want one of Adam Lambert
A tattoo shop
Your local tattoo shop should have a portfolio. You can look through many tattoo shops and see if the artists know how to do dragon tattoos. Once you like one head over there!
A licensed tattoo studio.
At a licensed tattoo studio.
Online is the cheapest place . Make sure it's all new and very clean though. Get the best ink you can find , or the tatoos will fade quickly .also you need better tattoo needles http://www.suntattooshop.com
The best place to get advice on getting a tattoo is from someone you know who has gotten one or a tattoo parlor. There are also several sites online that give great tips such as How Stuff Works and Tattoos.
If you want to get a tattoo (permanent skin art), do you really want the cheapest place? The cheapest place might not sterilize their equipment or use fresh disposable supplies for each client. The cheapest place might not hire experienced artists. The best tattoo place for you is the place that did a tattoo that you saw which you really, really liked.
if their needles aren't clean it will.
