Well it depend what type of tortoise it is:If it is a medittaranian spu thighed tortoise it will need 2 heat lamps and and 3 foot long tank, make sure there are no holes in the tank because they have to be kept very warm.That is all I know about tortoise keepings but I have one and they are usually very well behaved but only if you love them and keep them nicely and also make sure you use sand and not sawdust because if you use sawdust your tortoise could eat it and become very ill!.
