It depends on the kind of router you have. If you have a westell, it would tell you when you put in 192.168.1.254 as your URL. Linksys routers dont tell you but, you could put security on the router so only your household can acess it. I say Wep is best as a security. For any other kind of router, type in 192.168.1.1 in the Url. admin is the default password. Hope this helps.

What router and firmware are you using..?? Just set-up log files and check back every week or two. Or set-up a new wpa password with mac filtering.
