How do you cure arachnophobia?

A phobia, by definition, is an unreasoned fear of something, in this particular case, Spiders. It is questionable that one can ever be truly "cured" of a phobia but by working with a psychotherapist perhaps you can learn to 'control' your fear. There are different types of medicine out there for panic attacks but i suppose the only way to get rid of it is through therapy! Google it and i will guarantee that you will find a website to help you!

well i am not 100% sure if i HAVE arachnaphobia... however i do have a strong feelings that i do.

When i see a spider on the floor or wall or ANYWHERE.... i get really hot and have to fan myself. I start breathing hard (hyperventalation).... i want to cry, and it takes a lot for me to go and kill it myself. I normally scream for a family member (my brother) to come and kill it. I'm terrified of them. So those are MY symptoms... and when I told my dad about it, he thought I had a phobia of them too!

- Heat strokes

- Hyperventalation

- Crying

I am a doctor working in the USA. I would like to help you by answering your questions. If you get arachnophobia we do give you injections but you might not get out of it. You just have to calm down and get use to it. I know it is hard but you should try it.
