Well, check the purchase date of your Zune and the firmware that was out at that time and that should tell you because retailers always keep up to date with firmware updates. If you don't know the purchase date, just reinstall the firmware to the most recent one.

My boyfriend has the Zune player on his desktop, but I don't know anyone who has a Zune. Microsoft also announced that they are discontinuing the Zune line so if you have one, you might want to stockpile accessories from Amazon because they'll be harder to find later.
I use Limewire. Download your songs from Limewire and drag them to your zune collection.

I believe Ipod has much more reliability, not only with their compatability, but with there constant updates from Apple. Better firmware, and Itune's helps. This is also the same with Zune and its software. Ipod can also be very cheap with there products, and a 120 gigabyte Zune is only 249 in Canada (convert if you want to know for American dollar). SanDisk makes some good items, but if you want a really dedicated company, go for Ipod or Zune.
As I know iTunes purchased M4P files have DRM protection which prevent users from playing iTunes media with other incompatible players such as Zune, PSP, Creative Zen, etc. Then just use zune software to sync the music to zune You need to have iTunes and Zune software installed See related links

Whatever songs that you get when you have the zune pass you keep.
Check if you turned the zune on. When this happen to me, this is what I did: Plug your Zune in to the computer. Exit out of the Zune marketplace once it pops up. Your Zune should be charging.
