If you press down on your skin and it leaves a white mark that's defenitly a sign. Also if you feel you have been getting chubby and have been eating a lot of salty foods latley. But if your still not sure you should still drink lots of water and cut down on salt just to be safe.

If you are still sweating, and you aren't thirsty, you are probably hydrated. However, if you experience headache, dizziness, vertigo, muscle cramps, kidney pain, flushed skin, or lack of perspiration, you may be dehydrated or overheated. Drink enough fluids when exercising or when outdoors in hot weather.

Pinch Test

You can pinch the skin on the top of your hand, and it doesn't go back to level right away when you release it, you may be dehydrated.
