if you're a minor - just to genuinely know more about you as a person and know more about who you hang around with i supposean adult- because if you ever adopt then people will want to know who is around the kids.Added: If you are already receiving social service assistance, if you should have a child they will want to know who may be the likely father of the child,so that the state can recover child support payments from him.
