Depression is a very serious illness, especially in teenagers and young adults. Open a dialogue with your friend, and strongly suggest that they seek professional help. It could be the conversation that saves their life.
If you are around a depressed person for too long, it might catch on. just try to cheer your friend up and talk to them about whats making them depressed. try to help them & make sure they know you will always be there for them.
Either your friend has a boyfriend and you don't know about it, or your friend needs psychiatric help.
Whoever you think needs to know. A friend that can help you get her, or a parent for their advice.
because she know that you can help her or she needs a friend to comfort her.
Push him off and tell your friend, she needs to know
just be there to comfort him and tell him if he needs anything to let you know because my uncle died today.
A friend that is there when you need them is a true friend and cares for you.
You need to know how he/she feels. when he/she is depressed for example, you talk to them as a friend. Try to avoid any move that a friend can't make to them. just talk as you talk to your friends.
If your boyfriend is depressed and you love him you should try to convince him to get help. He can see his doctor to talk about the depression and possibly get some medication to help him. It can be hard to cope when someone you love is depressed. Just be strong and be there for him and let him know that you care.
She needs to tell him her feelings about him..and see what happens
I think you need to realize that your friend might not want to be "cheered up" right now. Death is something that has to be emotionally dealt with when it happens or it can affect the rest of your life. It might help to give him space or a better perspective though to help him cope. I would try and point out that his friend would likely want to see him celebrate his life rather than be depressed, or that for all we know he is in a better place, whether you're religious or not, the truth is we don't know. And if there is no afterlife, then he is at peace. You can also make him commit to live the best life he can on his friend's behalf to make it feel like his death can actually mean something. Whatever your style, help him deal with it rather than try to cheer him up.
pray for them
