one is crapand the other
it should say on the box when you first get the iPod.
iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288 (model number) iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318. (model number) retartds
Depending on the features of the iPod Touch will let you know what version (or generation) it is, in consultation with apples site
The second generation is Harry Potter and his friends, since the first generation (that is featured) is James Potter and the others. But if you want to know the generation after Harry, it's his children and their friends.
Well for starters all I know at the moment is a 4th generation has both front and back camera's.
The 8th generation iPod Nano is something of a mystery and nobody knows what it will or will not do. We do know that the current iPod Nano (6th generation) will not play movies or run apps.
The quickest way I know how to do this is to go to the apple website www.apple.com and look up your ipod. For the nano the black and white were the first generation and they added colors and features as they went. The nanos that were just released are the 4th generation, but other than that go to the website!
No, it doesn't. i know cuz i have a 2nd generation, but no camera.
It has a lithium ion polymer battery but I don't know anything else about it besides that its 3.7 volts. Sorry but i don't know the mAH.
I don't know you tell me
The fourth generation iPod Touch has not been made yet, and there are several other iPods with a fourth generation, so specific information of the iPod is needed to know whether it can be jailbroken or not.
If you paid for a 3rd generation but ended up with a 2nd generation, and you know for sure, go back to where you bought it with your receipt and all iPod accessories and iPod that came with it in the box and tell the return center that you want a 3rd generation, and not a 2nd generation.
