If your gecko is dying there are usually vital signs that will let you know. Sunken in eyes, almost looking like they're retreating back into the skull, is a sign that your gecko is dehydrated. If your leopard gecko has not eaten, or show any signs of passing fecal matter, this is a sign your animal could have impaction. If the animal has a wavy tail, these are preliminary signs of malnutrition which prominently lead to calcium deficiency. These are the common symptoms of a leopard gecko in distress.
If the gecko is sick, take it to see a reptile vet. If it is beyond getting better, the vet will handle the euthanasia. You can't just go around killing pets for the sake of it.
If you don't want the gecko any more, put it on a free-ad website or take it to a local re-homing centre, or contact your local vet for contacts as some have a list of people that will take in certain types of animals.
when your leopard gecko is shedding, you can help her by making sure she has a moist hide box with a high humidity for her to be in. Also, she'll need rough rocks or logs to scratch her body on to help get the old skin off. There's more, but this is as much as I know.
It depends what's wrong with it ! First course of action would be to take it to a vet !
no absolutely not! If your leopard gecko needs a companion try another leopard gecko (you can not pair male leopard geckos with other male leopard gecko)
