at first if you have a nest box they will begin to mate. you'll see them mating when the female lies down on the cage floor and the male will stand on top of her. then your female should be cutting strips of paper and putting it in her tail feathers. next your female will only come out the nest box like once twice or more it depends. you should look in the box once everyday. they need to have privacy. soon enough you should see some eggs. if they don't it's okay. just make sure you provide them with a lot of calcium. i mostly recommend cuttle bone. you should get them at a pet store. please remember to take nice care of your birds!
hello, i have been an lovebird breeder for 3years now. They usually sit at the bottom of their cage alot and the female tends to become mean or tries to bite when you try to hold her. I would suggest putting a breeding box inside of the cage and if the female tends to keep going in there you should check the box to see if there are any eggs. If so they could not be fertile so leave them in the box for 3-7 weeks if they do not hatch throw them away.
How do you know they aren't fertile? Lack of viability or failure to develop, or infertility of any eggs can result from almost countless reasons that include, but aren't limited to - diet, incompatible birds, unsuitable perches, unsuitable nestbox(es), too many birds kept together so that mating is interrupted birds too fat, bird disturbed on the nest by other birds, pestering by predators or mice, etc etc etc etc etc
You can candle eggs in order to determine if they are fertile or not as long as the eggs are at least 7 days old. Candling process can be found on the web.
Birds do not get pregnant, they lay eggs.

Fertile eggs
anywhere from 3-8 eggs
At about age 1 to 2 lovebirds start to lay eggs. You need to buy a nesting box (lovebird appropriate) in condition for your lovebirds to lay eggs. you can get a nesting box from your local pet store. but make sure you fill it with soft stuff or the egg might brake. If your female lovebird lays an egg it will not be fertile unless she has a mate.

Yes, but only if the crayfish eggs are fertile which requires a male. So if you can see the crayfish eggs on the tail of the crayfish that means that the eggs are fertile and will hatch in about 30 days
Infertile eggs will go white within 36 hours. The fertile ones stay amber (clear).
If your baby lovebirds are hungry you will hear them chatter.
No, pufferfish will not lay non-fertile eggs. I have had multiple pufferfish for over 5 years and they haven't laid non-fertile eggs. Although she did mate with my other pufferfish and lay fertile eggs.
