valleys and canyons are sometimes created by glaciers.
i dont know or care
I only know that alpine glaciers can carve deep u-shaped valleys in the mountains.
There are 2 main types of glaciers, Continental is one, they float away from central regions. The second is alpine or valley which are the glaciers that flow down the valley from the mountain.
Theres the alaskan glacier and thats all i know.
Retreating glaciers and advancing glaciers are both affected by changes in temperature and precipitation. They both play a role in shaping landscapes and influencing ecosystems. Additionally, they provide valuable insights into past climate conditions.
do not know guys sorry
the answer is PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS AND you would know thank you.
Glaciers create various landforms such as U-shaped valleys, moraines, drumlins, and fjords through processes like erosion, deposition, and melting. For example, as glaciers move, they erode the land beneath them, forming U-shaped valleys. When glaciers retreat, they leave behind piles of debris called moraines. Drumlins are elongated hills formed by glaciers depositing sediments, and fjords are deep, narrow inlets created by glaciers moving through valleys and subsequently melting.
Here are some facts about glaciers......Glaciers are big masses of ice left over from the ice ageWhen a glacier moves it cuts a basin into the Earth. For example, the basins of the 5 Great Lakes were carved by an advancing and receeding glacier over millions of years. They have been around for millions of yearsSome glaciers can move up to a foot a day that's mile a year
