if there is more than one cog
Toontown Invasion Tracker is a website. if you mean a Cog Tracker, you will need to defeat a certain amount of every cog. (excluding bosses, only cog battle cogs) (INCLUDING building cogs)
You have to defeat the C.J. then you get special rewards to summon 3 types of summons one is to summon a cog the other is to summon a cog building and last is to summon a cog invasion These can be located by looking at the Cog Gallery in your Schticker Book. Just click what ever cog you want and it will eather (depending on what you pick) fly down on the street start invading or a building of its type (bb lb cb sb) will fall on the building in front of you
If you are a member ToonPlayer, you can cause one! First, you must fill both quotas on all cogs in the "Cog Gallery"(the picture will turn yellow). After defeating the C.J. (Chief Justice) many, many times, you should see a button. From there, click it and you can do three things. Call a Cog(single), Call a Cog Building(those ugly things), or Call a Cog Invasion(This will trigger a whisper from "Toon HQ" saying, "A Cog Invasion has started! ____________'s are invading ToonTown!" (The underscore is the Cog's name that you called)
Cog
Scire--to know.
If you need a cog building you can go to a quiet district (one that's blue). Cog buildings don't exaclty last long in crowded districts. You won't find many toons so I recomend that you get some friends to help you out. A big helper-outer is Building Radar. You get Building Radar when every cog in your cog gallery has a gold background (you obtain this by defeating a certain number of every cog). Its a very pretty sight, as bonus. If you have Building Radar you can click on the cog logos on the right side of your cog gallery and it'll tell you exactly how many buildings if that type are on the street your on. Talk about useful! There are many districts within Toontown where you can find more or less activity in each. A very popular "invasion" district is Nutty River. If you get in there, it is usually because you've got a friend already logged in and currently IN "river' . Nutty Summit is also very busy with cog invasions and a few others. When you you teleport from one district to another the number of cog buildings, invasions (if any apply for that district) and number of toons will vary. The ability to teleport from one district to another is a great help especially if you find the shop you are need to enter for your task was taken over by a cog. Sometimes, if you are small or can't find anyone to take down the building with, its a help to TP out of there to a less busy district and VOILA, the same shop is NOT a cog building. The radar is a huge help for you especially when you are smaller and still trying to get a "specific cog" to defeat and complete your task. However, when you acquire your Lawbot Cog Suit, and defeat the Chief Justice you will earn yourself a Cog Summons. There are three cog summons you can earn: Summons Cog (individual) - where you can call a specific cog to appear in the very near vicinity of where are you standing. Summon a Cog Building: summon the specific cog type (sellbot, cashbot, lawbot, bossbot) building. This can be a single story upwards to 5. This is the luck of the draw however so be prepared to take down a 5 if your summons calls it down. Summon a Cog Invasion: Ah Yes.. la Creme de la creme' Got to love this one. This will summon any of the (4) cog types that you've earned. This is a very handy tool since you may find yourself in a pickle waiting for the cog invasion. Remember you earn extra merits, bucks, options and notices during an invasion. This is especially important when you are trying to load up on your bossbot battle currency. You can earn twice as many of your much needed currency during invasion. When you are trying to earn 23,000 options for a CEO battle and you miss out on an invasion during a very very very long "back 9". You only earn 1685 instead of the big ticket of 3350 options. To summon a cog you must defeat many V.P's, CEO's etc. Some rescued toons will give you SOS help and also an ability to summon a type of cog, Bloodsucker, Cold Caller, Big Wig, etc. You can start an invasion or just summon a cog. Hope it helped.Actually you need to defeat a chief justice battle which allows you to summon a cog

There is no root cog-. The root cogn- means "be acquainted with" and it is formed from the Latin prefix co- and the verb gnosco, to know.
They can vary from 1 floor to 5 floors, and can be filled with Sellbots, Cashbots, Lawbots, or Bossbots, depending on who took over the toon building. In invasions, that cog type that is invading will be the only one in the building until the invasion finishes. Cog buildings can be summoned via the Shticker Book after defeating a Chief Justice.
Here are the steps (but you MUST defeat all the cogs so the cog gallery turns fully orange!): 1. defeat the CJ to get a cog summon 2. open your book 3. go to cog gallery 4. then you should see a circle next to the cog 5. click the circle 6. then you have a choice of... summon cog, summon invasion or summon building. 7. click summon building for a building (but you need to be in a street and you must be in front of a toon building) 8. then you should hear the cog building coming down on top of it, and your done!
Because they did know it was going to be an invasion. But they did not know where or when.
