How do you know what a real period is after taking the pill?
I came off the pill in Febuary '09, after being on on it for 4 - 6 months, because me and my partner are trying for a baby. I had periods after, but they wasnt't 'real periods' i'd have one miss one have one miss one and then I had a period and another period the month after, and then after that I had nothing for three months until this month i finally had a period. Does anyone know what's going on? Me and my partner really want a baby and we're about to give up hope :( if anyone knows what it could be please let me know.
Thank you :)
My doctor said that it can stop your period. This pill is to lighten and shorten the length of your period. This pill has more days in which you actually take the bc pill. Other bc pills have like 4 fewer days then you take the sugar pills. If you want to have your period while taking this pill just disregard the last real pill. It should make your start your period. If not skip the last 2. I would talk to your doctor first.
The purpose of taking placebo is so that a person can think that they are doing the real thing. This is a pill.
You'll get it either at the very end of your reminder pills or on your first real pill
i think the real question is... can you get your exclamation point if you stop taking it?
You are just spotting. Missing one pill won't cause a period.
will i gain any wait back if i stop taking the 2 day diet pill
That is normal. The real bleeding should not start until you have taken Mifepristone.
No
You may experience more of the uncomfortable side effects of the pill such as spotting. I would suggest (as most doctors do) waiting until after your period and starting it on a sunday. I would also suggest waiting a full 2 weeks before starting to have unprotected sex. Unless of course you want to get pregnant.
of course you can then you know it is coming. <[- REAL
Yes
Usually no, sometimes you may experience a side effect from taking the pill which is called breakthrough bleeding. Breakthrough bleeding is a nuisance that can last up to a week, which in sense makes you think it is a regular period but actually its not. Most likely you started breakthrough bleeding during your last week of active pills and then you started your "real period" during the placebo week. If breakthrough bleeding still occurs after 3 months, it is recommended that you consult your physician, this may mean you need a higher dosage of birth control.
