You can find the information on what to do in a quest in your quest log, which you open up with the "L" key. Here, scroll down to find the quest you are on and click on its name. You will see the text of the quest explaining what to do.
You can shift-click a quest to track it, meaning it shows up in your screen. If you open your map with the "M" key, it will display where you need to go for the next part of the quest you are currently tracking.

Best way would be to go around and click on people with the little exclamation points (!) over their heads. these are quest givers. they will tell you what to do.
