You mean a bareback pad? Personal choice.. I find it more comfy to ride with one. Depends on if the horse has bumpy gates.
Yes, a horse does need a saddle pad to protect it's back and make the saddle feel snug on the horse.
It depends on what type of riding you do. The most basic ones are the saddle, saddle pad, and half pad. The bridle varies between what you and your horse prefers, but the only two that I know of are the bitted and bitless. :) Hope that helped!
it's near the horse stable next to the saddle pad where you equip your horse
a knee pad, bell
yes it is
Frog
To tack up a horse english style (if this is what you mean?) first (after you brush them off) you put on the square pad. Then, you put on the white pad (sometimes called a fluffy pad) then, the saddle. Then you put on the girth and then the bridle and your all done :)
For riding? Or for keeping one? Well riding needs: a bridle; size and style depends on breed, personatlity, and horse. A saddle; again depends on size and horse. A saddle pad needed as padding for saddle. Probably get an all purpose pad. Unless your western then you need a western pad. A girth to keep the saddle on or a "cinch" depending on saddle kind. To keep a horse. Well and nice compfy pasture and a safe closed stall. Food and water access. TONS of food, grooming supplies, basic vet supplies, halter/leadrope. Blankets, hose to wash off horse. That's just the very basics.
the thing a horse wears under the saddle is called a saddle pad ! (:
this site tells you exactly how http://www.wikihow.com/Tack-up-a-Horse or.... carry your saddle over to your horse put the numnah or saddle pad on the horses back put saddle on the saddle pad move the saddle forward until the girth is just behind the front legs tighten the girth on both sides pull dwn the stirups and get on and ride. lol. :)
please be more specific, how should we know what you mean? it could be a kaoss pad and a mouse pad. and what do you mean by what a pad is for?
You put it on their withers, on top of the saddle pad
