You fill it with coolant in the recovery tank. There are marks on it for hot and cold levels. tg
i didnt know there was a volkswagon that has a radiator
Yes, but I want know when was the 1995 introduced.
You will need to look underneath to see what part the coolant is leaking out of. When you find the source, you will know the failed part.
Don't know for sure but check in the radiator overflow. Tip: The radiator can be full but if the overflow is low or empty it will trigger the light.
On a 1995 Ford Ranger : I know on the 4.0 liter EFI engine , you follow the top radiator hose from the radiator . It connects to a metal pipe which is part of the engine cooling thermostat housing that is bolted to the front of the engine . The thermostat is inside the housing
On a 1995 Ford Aerostar : Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator ( I know on the 4.0 liter V6 the hose will connect to a metal pipe that is part of the thermostat housing that is bolted to the front of the engine ) The engine cooling thermostat is inside the housing
Checking your radiator always
basics 1st, have you removed the wires from the plugs lately? if so, you may have mixed them up, out of order, really need to know more from you bud. jr
When the radiator isn't working
I have a friend who owns a 1990 Caprice. He likes the car and feels it has held up well for it's age.
It's depends on tire rating, H rated goes up to 130, and V rated is at about 140. But only if LT1, don't know about L99
Is the cooling fan[s] coming on? is the radiator full of coolant ?does the engine have a blown head gasket or cracked head? Why did it need a radiator?
