In Facebook, to follow someone and get all the updates he posts, you can subscribe him or add him as a friend.
To subscribe someone, go to the person's wall and click on the subscribe button next to his name.
To add someone as a friend, click on "Add as friend" next to his name on his wall.

∙ 8y agoIn order to follow, you search for the person you wish to follow on twitter. Then at the top of their page (under their name) it has a button that says "follow". Click that and it will say "following".
