This is a fairly direct job. Now, having said that, I haven't changed a thermostat in many years, and I've never changed the one in my Sunfire. So, take my comments as advisory at best. The Sunfires have mounted the thermostats in two places that I know of. Where yours is depends on the year and which engine you have. I recommend you pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual.
