when a waxy substance appears at the end of the teats
I dont know for sure but the ranch that i work at had weaned the foal/fillies from their mothers. There are these horses down the street from me and they are mother and son. The son was not weaned and now they are inseperable. So, i dont know if that helped, but good luck!!
you have to like feed him play with him and then when you are ready to train him i think you can graze.
If you do not know that your mare is bred, then you would not know she was going to have a foal, but they usually have them without help. If a foal is stillborn then you would have to talk to your vet to see to it that your mare gets treatment, but there is nothing that you can do about the foal. Kiley
you get an ultra sound
i dont know if it could but i know they definitly SHOULDNT be in foal until they are at least 3 years of age.
She's getting ready to foal. It's called waxing.
After a mare has foaled you will want to wait until the foal is weaned before you ride the mare again. It is very hard to ride a mare with the foal trotting along side, and can be dangerous for the foal. A foal is ready to be weaned any time from 6 to 8 months of age.
On your horse's page under Characteristics, click on the link that is their breed. It will go to a page that displays a list of allowed coats for that breed and what percentage of horses posses each of the coats.
You don't really see the vet. When your mare is ready to foal, a box will pop up telling you that she's about to give birth. There will be an option to Go Get The Vet. Click that and your foal will be born. :)
You can buy Dun Foals on Desert Isle.~TheShadow, Dun server
Well look at it's bits!
There is a message which lets you know your mare is foaling - make sure you have enough money for the vet, because if you cannot get the vet there in time, the foal will die.
