Well the thing is with that is once you get menopause youll have it forever. in older female adult lets say 40-60 starts menopause. Its when all of your female sex oragns are shut down. No more periods.

I sure wish that there was a simple answer to this question. Every woman is different - there is no" one size fits all" answer. There is simply no set age that every woman begins perimenopause and menopause. (I call it PM&M for short.)

The peri part can be a 6 -10 year process. During that time your hormone levels begin taking a nose dive - south! When your hormones drop you can begin experiencing all kinds of weird changes. Once you have been without your period for a whole year - then you have reached menopause.

Get your OBGYN to do a blood test to check your horomone levels. Some women can start it early a 30's and others get it late at 60's. Ask your mom or grandmother when they started theirs.
