If you want your bulbs to last longer then use 130 volt bulb on a 120 volt system. The light emitted by a 130 volt bulb, when comparing it to a 120 volt bulb, will be a bit dimmer.
A light bulb lights up when electricity is applied, and it has a bulbous shape. Q. How do people know how a bulb looks in the past years it has changed and and it has diffrent shapes. A. The same way that they know that a phone dial was called a 'dial' because it was a circular like the face of a watch. Oh, right.
Less than 0.02 watt/hours. Running your 100w bulb for an hour uses 100 watt/hours. The inrush current during the cold resistance of the bulb lasts for only a millisecond before the bulb is hot. This is insignificant on your electric bill even if you sat and flicked the lightswitch for the whole month, and is a common misconception that someone who didn't know what they were talking about made up.
know one cares
A higher wattage HPS bulb may work with a ballast that is rated for a lower wattage bulb , but may appear to be dim and will not produce the rated light output. It is best to match ballast and bulb accordingly.
need to know what bulb. The check engine bulb
you can't replace just the bulb itself. you have to replace the whole bulb and lens assembly and you have to get them from the dealership. they are somewhat expensive but there is no other solution that i know of.
i wanted to know how to change head light bulb of 99 cavalier
To replace the check engine light bulb, you will need to remove the dashboard. Once you have removed the dashboard, the bulb for the light will be exposed and can be changed.
what bulb? if you need to change exterior front or rear or indicator? let me know.
I know it will feel like you're going to break it, but if you firmly pull, it comes off. Replace bulb and snap it back on.
THRU THE TRUNKThe tail lights are replaced through the trunk. The license plate light is replaced by eitherundoing the two screws that flank the light, pulling the fixture down, removing the bulb socket, replace the bulb and reverse to reassembleORreach up from under the bumper to remove the bulb socket, replace the bulb and return the socket. If you don't know where the socket is, or don't have a flexible wrist, it's easier to undo the screws
I know it will feel like you're going to break it, but firmly pull and it will come off. Replace the bulb, snap it back on.
If you know the bulb in it is good then you may want to check the fuse for it and see if that has gone bad.
I had to pull off the front bumper to replace the ballast and high and low beam bulbs. that's the only way that I know. I had to do this 2 times when the other bulb went out.If the bulb you replace does not work then it might be the ballast.
I would suggest looking in your manual under headlights/taillights. Take the bulb out and look on the back of it. it should have numbers on it. Just go to the nearest autozone or pep boys or something, they will know.
Any body know the answer to this....I got the cover off of the console but don't see where the light bulb is.....I see wires running up underneath but not a good way to get at them to see if light bulb is attached.
