Very vague question... See sources and related links below to lookup the part numbers. As far as identifying what is out, turn on your lights and go out and look.
Some for the dash light there is a little bulbs in the switch behind each controls so you have to open it with the headlight switch to see which is light and witch is not I know this because I had the same problem with my VSA VTM and 5 of the climate control lights were out all at once so I purchase the bulb from Honda and when by another place to have it put in cause Honda was charging me 300 dollar to change seven bulbs

i wanted to know how to change head light bulb of 99 cavalier
the parts store will know what headlight bulb number you need and the size when you tell them the make and year of your vehicle.
THERE ARE PLUGS FOR THE HIGH BEAMS AND LOW BEAMS ON MY 99 HONDA ACCORD. Make sure the lights have been off for at least 20 minutes, those halogen bulbs are really hot, trust me. Simply grab the plug directly behind the headlight fixture, turn counterclockwise about a quarter of a turn, and the bulb assembly will come out of the headlight fixture. Once it is out of the headlight fixture, then you will need to unplug the bulb assembly from the electrical wire. To do this, hold the bulb part with one hand, and squeeze the bottom of the middle "lever" of the plastic connector to release the bulb from the electrical wire plug. Next, do not let the new halogen bulb touch your skin, because the natural oils from your fingers and hand will cause the bulb to overheat and the bulb will burn out or explode shortly after use. I have found it easier to do the following. Take the new bulb and plug it into the headlight fixture, remember the orientation or positioning that it came out a little crooked, and you will need to rotate it a quarter turn clockwise and it should lock back into place easily. Then, once the bulb is in the headlight fixture, plug in the electrical wire connector to the bulb. I know on some models the intake vent hose or the coolant reservoir is in the way, but once you get the bulb out, you can unlpug the bulb, and if you put the bulb in first then plug in the electrical wire connection, it should be much simpler for you. Good Luck!
I DO NOT KNOW IF I WAS A MECHANIC I WOULD BE WORKING AS ONE
typically, you only change the bulb (it the bulb light is out). they usually cost a few dollars, if it is a busted headlight, do not know.
How do you change a headlamp on a Mecedes ML 350? I know where the access is. I just can't figure out what you turn/press/pull to get the old bulb out.
I am asking the question because I don't know what it is
I haven't tried, but, I have the repair manual and it says that you first have to remove the bumper. Then disconnect the connectors and remove the five bolts holding the headlight in place. Install in reverse order. I am actually doing a search to see if someone has an easier method. (con't) It does look like you can just change a bulb (and not the entire headlight). The manual does not give that as an option. It looks like you can get to it from the back of the assembly. The headlight bulb does come off without you taking the whole thing out.It is a pain sometimes to get it off but just work with it, and if I remember right u have to take out radiator reseivor I managed to open the passenger side (inner side) bulb i.e High Beam. It was possible after taking the battery out. I am struggling to change the passenger side (outer bulb) i.e Low Beam (Headlight) but the air inlet hose pipe is in the way, dont know how to get it out of the way.
