i don't care of this question jk ! i don't know i had trouble with this myself. normally you can tell when your iPod shuffle is charging is because the little light will turn orange when it's on the charger and when it's fully charged the light will turn green!

The iPod Shuffle uses a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. This standard jack allows for compatibility with most headphones and earbuds. However, the iPod Shuffle also features a proprietary connector for charging and syncing data.
It's the same hole as the headphones port.
The itek i55001 docking station is not compatible with the iPod Shuffle. The iPod Shuffle uses a different connector and does not support docking stations designed for other iPod models. It is primarily designed for iPod models that use a 30-pin connector or Lightning connector, depending on the version. For iPod Shuffle, it's recommended to use a compatible USB cable for charging and syncing.
If your iPod Shuffle's dock is broken, you can charge it by using a USB cable. Connect the USB end to a computer or a USB wall adapter, and the other end to the iPod Shuffle's headphone jack using a compatible adapter. Alternatively, you can also try using a different charging dock if available, or look for third-party charging solutions that are compatible with your device.
well, it depends. i have had problems charging my ipod touch 2nd gen. with my ipod nano 1st gen. so, NO!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- guy above is a retard, all ipod chargers work for all ipods EXCEPT the ipod shuffle.
