I'll give it to you straight: get twigs.
If you want a more step by step answer here it is:
1# follow the golden arrow on the map- like thingy, at the top left corner of your screen. (You can also find twigs hidden in food or trash cans/bins.)
2# find a place you like to make a nest (you can not make nest in trees or water (you can try to make it in the water if you want to.))
3# to lay your twigs hit space bar. Now you have started a nest. You need a certain amount of of twigs to lay a egg. So just collect twigs (you do not need to hit space bar everytime, when you have twigs, your nest takes them, SO DON'T HIT SPACE BAR.
You proable will need to know how to lay a egg since you asked this question.
When you nest is done, a picture of a egg will appear in the middle of your map thingy. Just stand in the middle of your nest and hit space bar, which lays your egg. Make sure to keep your egg warm or it would crack and die. When your egg hatches, you will need to feed your chick. This is done by hitting space bar. ONLY HIT THE SPACE BAR WHEN A PICTURE OF A CHICK APPEARS ON YOUR MAP THINGY.
THANKS FOR THE QUESTION.

It keeps continuing to lay an egg it is just like a life cycle
no egg can lay another egg because they have not been born yet when the egg has hatched and it has grew up then they can lay an egg of there own.
we don't lay eggs
Yes, rotting organic matter is a source of food for the larval form of the fly.
If they hide there, they lay the egg there too.
lay egg
It will lay an egg eventually if you put the opposite gender /male a female might lay an egg.
This would not normally happen except by accident, as the egg would be extremely unlikely to survive.
Hens typically like to lay in the morning hours. However, that is not a guarantee.
lay an egg. check
No, it does not hurt a hen to lay an egg.
