What I usually do is take on the a few measures at a time. I master those measures and move on to the next three, then play the first six together. I then move onto the next three, master that, and then play the first 18 measures together. I repeat that process until I finish the song.
simply American idiot all i did is listen to the guitar and play with the song No Way! That song is one of the hardest of the lot.
How you get the song is you go to Windfall Island, and if you look around enough, you should find a cliff with a stone tablet and a person dancing in front of it. you talk to the guy and you learn the song. the song itself is Right, Left, Down. You have to learn the song before you can play it however.

Sometimes the only way to get rid of a song out of that's playing all day and all night in your head is to figure out what that song is and learn all of the words. This way, you can go through the entire song and not get stuck on one repetitive verse.
