If you are using the newest version of imvu up the top of the screen where it shows all your tabs (example: home then next to it the room you are in) just click the little "x" on the tab

if your in a chat room, leave and re enter the chat, if your in a private chat, tell the person to re invite you when you leave if your not in a chat and you just wont load, re download IMVU
