You cannot 'free up' any of the standard soul gems - you can only use them, and the act of using them for any purpose, will consume the item completely.
If you're talking about Azura's Star, there's still no way to 'release' a soul from it, but if you use the Star for any of the usual purposes, you'll keep Azura's Star afterwards and it will now be empty.

You can't. The only one you can go to Skyrim in is Arena, the very first Elder Scrolls, which came out in 1994 i believe. However, on December 11th, 2010, Bethesda finally announced that The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim is coming out the following veterans day, November 11th, 2011. Catchy release date lol. So, obviously, the newest elder scrolls game will take place in Skyrim.
Yes, but it is done a different way. Go to your Inventory. Look for scrolls. The number of scrolls you have will decide how many of the item you want to be duplicated. double click on the scrolls then go to the item you want duplicated and drop it. it should make a stack of them. if not....to bad :P
First you have to have a filled Soul Gem,Then go to an Enchanting Station like the ones in the Arcane univercity. you can also use a variety of game mods on the net to do much the same for much less cost.
You can easily find the expensive and stronger soul gems by going to a mage guild become part of it and then you can search all the places for gems. if you want bigger go for getting all the recomendations and then go to the arcane university. there will most likely be very good gems and staffs you can take. i suggest that if you can go the deans dorm and if you can take his staff without stealing it then take that.
