To be honest I don't think you can. My parents split up when I was 5 which was hard, but if your parents are arguing, you getting involved would probably make it worse, you've just got to let them get on with it and stay out of their way until things have calmed down and then once they're both calm, pull one of them aside and ask them why they keep arguing etc.

∙ 11y agoYou can't make them stop forever. (I know, so disappointing!) But you can make them stop for a while, at least. One way is you can tell them how you feel when they fight. Or write them a letter telling them how you feel. The one I use the most is when you ask them why they keep on fighting, and then burst into tears. That was what i did when they were fighting. And when ever they do, they can even hurt each other, like when my dad slapped my mom's glasses off and also slapped her head. When i saw that, i just cried and cried and cried. :( i know exactly how you feel :(

∙ 15y agoYou can't make your parents stop fighting, it is not up to you, it is not your fault, you are not causing them to fight!!! This must be awful for you.
Depending on your age, maybe you have other family members like grandparents, aunts, uncle, or someone you could talk about this with. Possibly if it's a real problem you could go live with Grandparents or relatives. Don't forget about maybe some teacher or counselor at you school that could help you.

Well my parents fight alot so i know what you are going through. I would right them a note to stop then send it to them a sneaky way. Like i attached one to my dogs coller and threw a treat by my parents, they saw the notes and then read it. When they see it they relize how bad i must feel and how bad they are acting.
