How do you live with a sociopath?
If you are asking how to get along with and/or live with one, the answer is to be ready to give them everything you have emotionally, and often materially as well. In short, prepare to be frightened and miserable. It is impossible to have a healthy relationship with a sociopath, because they are not capable of it.
A sociopath is someone who doesn't care about other people's feelings. A deviant sociopath isn't in any psychology text that I can find. But here are some things that you might be referring to: A sociopath who is abnormal in some way. This would be any sociopath who doesn't fit the exact definition of a sociopath. If a deviant sociopath is just your name for a sociopath. See top. An unpredictable sociopath. A sociopath who…
Yes, but both would not like it, and it would probably not last. Living with a sociopath is awful for anybody, and the main reason that people stay is because they don't want to hurt the sociopath. As a sociopath is egocentric, the sociopaths would not care about each other's feelings, and would leave each other.
No. Sociopaths have no conscience. The victim of a sociopath has a conscience and emotions and will not become a sociopath. If the victim of a sociopath is acting different it is probably because of the abuse the victim is enduring from the sociopath. If you have any more questions I would be happy to answer. Based on personal experience, I believe this is accurate.
No. A sociopath is not capable of feeling love, empathy, sympathy. He/she is devoid of emotions that run the healthy gamut in procuring, and nurturing a sustained normal relationship. However, they quickly learn how to mimic these emotions and live their lives with their 'loved' ones posing, pretending and feigning real love.
Unless a sociopath is professionally diagnosed, you cannot tell that person that he/she is a sociopath. And the chances of one going to get a diagnosis are virtually nil. And DO NOT tell others that you think he/she is a sociopath in case it gets back to the person. Since a sociopath has no conscience, and since only self matters to a sociopath, he/she can be vindictive and even litigious when it comes to being…
Not all of them, but being a sociopath is partly genetic and the likelihood of sociopathic parents having sociopathic children is higher. It is even higher if both parents are sociopaths, which happens a lot as a sociopath will tend to marry another sociopath as that is the only kind of person they can relate to in anyway.
Yes, These people need to be relieved from the pressure of working in society. They have the ability to slander good employees and destroy their careers. So it is a benefit to any company not to hire a sociopath. It is also a responsibility for society to care the sociopath because they are mentally ill just as as schizophrenic is...There is NO treatment available for the sociopath .
Completely cut all ties. Block the number. Block from facebook. Block the email. If sociopath doesn't get the message and tries to contact you by coming to your house, get a restraining order. Do not EVER talk or communicate with sociopath again. You do not owe sociopath an explanation. Do not look back and surround yourself with people that actually care about you.
