I can not find any information of a Daisy model 653. However Daisy did make a model 693 BB pistol. Is this the pistol you are referring to?
No it's no longer in production. It was made between 1979 - 1989.
I suggest you contact Daisy airgun company directly and request an owners manual (See the Daisy customer service link below)
Are you asking about a gun or a rifle. Which model are you asking about. Daisy had made over a 100 different BB guns and rifles
Winchester made 2 air guns (pistols) the model 353 and 363. both are break barrel air guns. You said "Guns" so I assume you want pistols not air rifles. 1. Break the barrel down and push it all the way until it locks. 2. Load the pellet into the open breach at the barrel hinge. 3. Close the barrel back up. 4. Remove the safety. 5. Aim and fire.
Minors can't purchase air pistols but they can use them. I wouldn't carry them around in public though.
Yes they come in both airsoft and pellet format. See the link Below for Spring Pellet pistols and Airsoft pistols
Daisy started making air rifles in 1895
There are too many types: airguns that are used in the auto industry, Air Rifles, Air pistols, Air soft guns.
There is a slide on the right side of the barrel. Push it forward and hold it while you put the BB in the loading door on the right side of the firring breech.
There are several versions of the Daisy 1894. Daisy offers a free service to determine the value of Daisy Air rifles and guns. See the link below.
Daisy offers a service to evaluate and date old Daisy Air rifles. See the link below.
If it's a recent Daisy or even some older Daisy's I would start with Daisy (See the link below) Daisy has some parts. OR: you can do a search on the web for "Air Gun Repair" and locate someone near you to repair the Daisy. OR: you can see the link below for a list of shops.
