How do you save Pokemon Diamond on computer?

First of all, you need an Action Replay DS. If you have one, on the pokesav window, click "AR DS Code Output". On the scree that pops up, check all boxes for things that you want canged. For Pokemon, you check the box(es) for Pokemon 1-6, depending on how many Pokemon you created. Then check Party Amount (remember to set the number in the main screen). After checking all necessary boxes, click "Save File". After saving the file, copy it and paste in the "My Codelist" or "Nintendo DS" sections of the Action Replay Code Manager you should have installed from the CD that came with the AR. It will ask you if it can delete all the games, click YES (you can reupload the games). The AR Code Manager should upload "Pokemon Diamond (USA)" and "Pokemon Pearl (USA)" on in your AR Code Manager with the cheat titled "POKESAV generated". Afterwards, shut down the Code Manager and, on your Action Replay, check the cheat and start your game. Once the game started, press L+R and open the menu (press X). Look at your party and the Pokemon you created should br there. NOTE: Any previous Pokemon in your party will most likely be permanently deleted (if you already saved your game).

you click something that changes what you want as the controls, ( probably something next to "file" ). change the X button for Nintendo to X on your keyboard. now you will be able to open the menu using X. i found this out by reading a poster that said, "press X to open the menu", right next to my stairs in my room in my house in Pokemon pearl, its the same in diamond.

you can save the game in two ways

1. entering your house and going to your bed

2.hit b button when in dungeon, click other/extra or whatever it is, then go down to quick save and hit yes

there is atleast one dungeon that i have entered where you are forced to save in order to enter like buried relic(warning:98 flrs total, i suggest using fire Pokemon and either electric/water type Pokemon as partner and have both be around lvl 50 atleast0

If you already saved the game after starting a new game just choose continue to start exactly where you saved.

Press the X button on your DS the menu will open and scroll down to SAVE press A on SAVE then say yes to all questions and now your game is saved.
