Clean the earring (without taking it out):

You probably got a cleaning solution or you can use hydrogen peroxide or soap and water. Take a Q-tip and dip it in the solution and then gently swipe it against both sides of the ear and the earring. Do this at least once a day for six weeks. Aftercare for Ear Lobe Piercing Your ear lobe has been pierced by a professional body piercer and pierced using an implantation steel captive bead ring or implantation steel stud of the highest quality available. The rest of the healing process is up to you. Following this simple guide should enable you to have a great piercing that when healed will look great now and for years to come. Remember one thing no matter how good your piercing may appear over the next 1 to 2 months (4 to 8 weeks) it's not healed and care must be exercised in handling it. Your piercing will not be seasoned (toughened) until you reach 1 year from the date of the piercing , so damage from changing jewellery or wearing inappropriate jewellery in the piercing is still possible within that time period. New Piercing Aftercare 1) Clean your lobe piercing twice a day for the next 3 days, once in the morning and again at night. You can do this in the shower or bath but you must always rinse the piercing out using fresh running water. 1a) Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap-up and Rinse off using your normal bath products. We don't want any other cleaning or grooming products to enter a piercing we are trying to clean. Leave cleaning your cartilage piercing as the last thing you clean before exiting the shower or bath. 1b) Using your Soft Soap brand liquid anti-bacterial soap apply a small amount to your hand and lather it up. Once lathered, apply this to the lobe piercing and jewellery, working it around the piercing by rotating the ring or shuffling the stud. Once the Soft Soap is in the piercing wait a few moments then rinse the piercing in running water again rotating the ring or shuffle the stud to ensure all the soap is out of the lobe and piercing. 1c) Come out of the shower or bath and towel dry, but use a tissue to dry the ear lobe piercing out thoroughly (towels can retain bacteria and should not be used on new or fresh piercings) After 3 Days Follow the above steps 1a through 1c only once a day for the next three to four weeks. Between actual cleanings you may rotate the ring or shuffle the stud only under running water after you have soaped up and rinsed off and don't intend on using any other cleaning or grooming products. After 4 Weeks Follow the above steps 1a through 1c only once every 2 or 3 days for the next three to four months. Over cleaning is the number one cause of irritated piercings, striping the natural skin oils will tend to dry the cartilage piercing out causing it to look red and irritated. Things Not to Do with New Cartilage Piercings. Do Not use Epsom Salts, Table Salt, Betadine, Tea Tree Oil, Polysporin, Neosporin, Bacitracin, Bactroban, Bactine or any other topical solution or ointment on your piercing what so ever. These products are not for use on Puncture Wounds! If it's not listed on the above aftercare guide don't use it on the piercing!. Do Not use Sun Block, Sun Tan Lotion, Baby Oil or any other Skin Care product on a new or unseasoned piercing. If you think you have trouble with your piercing contact your piercer and NEVER remove the jewellery from a suspected infected piercing.

Soak it in a mixture of natural sea salt and warm water. Put a pinch of natural sea salt into a shot glass of warm water. Do it for about 5 minutes no more than twice a day. If it dries out your skin, use less salt. If that doesnt help, use the sea salt and water once a day and warm water by itself for other soaks.

Put a pinch of natural sea salt in a shot glass full of warm water. Soak your piercings in it for about 5 minutes. Do it 2-3 times a day. Dry them off with whatever. I use q-tips to make sure that I get all the crusties off. Don't play with them too much and keep your hair clean. Don't swim for about 2-3 months and don't change the jewelery for at least a month.

Usually your piercer provides you with cleaning spray/objects. Put the cleaning stuff on to a cotton pad and dab it gently!

You should clean it with rubbing alcohol 3 times a day so it won't get infected.
