Make sure your rabbit stays warm, has lots of exercise and eats healthy. Don't keep it locked away inside, make sure he/she has a chance to go outside and exercise. At night I would suggest you keep your rabbit somewhere warm, not outside.
Rabbits eat bark, shrubs, buds, and berries. Rabbits aare very curious in the winter.

Yes, but only durable and stronger rabbits have the strength to dig in the permafrost (frozen soil). They usually dig in the permafrost because they are trying to look for roots when no grass is present during the winter. Or, they are building a nest.

Rabbits graze on grasses and other plants, and will brows on leaves, even eating bark in a severe winter.
Wild rabbits generally know when it's safe to have their babies. If wild rabbits are having babies in the winter, that probably means they're surviving; if they aren't having babies in the winter, that probably means they wouldn't survive if they did. Pet rabbits need to be kept safe and warm. They especially need to be kept dry, with good shelter from rain and snow. If the temperature drops below 50 degrees Fahrenheit (or 10 Celsius), they need a shelter that keeps them warm. See the question below about temperature for details. In colder weather, rabbits use more energy, and because breeding takes a lot of energy too, winter isn't a good time to breed your rabbits. If you have baby rabbits in the winter, bring them inside with the nursing mom. See the related link below for more info.
The snowshoe hare changes its fur to white in the winter, and back to brown (with a white underbelly in the summer. If it is an outdoor rabbit, it can get sunburn, if it's black, its fur will turn a brown color, it isn't really dangerous, but make sure they have shade, and the color will become normal again after she/he gets their winter coat
