Crust forming around your piercing is part of the healing process. Do not pick the crust off as it will reopen the wound.
It might be dried pus if you have been playing with a piercing and got the area infected.
Not 100% sure what you're asking, but small amounts of crust build up around a new piercing because of the biproducts of healing. Your body uses various chemical concoctions that are in a liquid form to heal wounds (which is what a piercing is) and these dry around the outside as they drain outward. Don't pick at them, rinse them away with warm, clean water.
the reason its crusting is because its healing, you need to make sure that you continue to clean it twice a day and gently remove the crust around the bar, keep doing this, and you will have an infection free piercing! hope this helped! xxx
Hold the back of it and if the ball is on really tight twist hard.
-yellow/green discharge from piercing -pain or tenderness around the piercing -red, purple, or yellowish discoloration around piercing
Yes It's an indication that the piercing is healing, just stay on top of your aftercare and you will end up with a great piercing.
The area around an infected piercing may be swollen, reddish, sore to the touch, discharge puss or accumulate crust which returns after being removed.
No. A genital piercing includes any piercing on or around your genitals. Not your tongue.
Around the piercing but not on the piercing.
You are over cleaning your piercing and drying it out
Either dry skin or dried lymph. Try soaking the piercing in warm water. Then use a q-tip to gently wipe away the crust. If that doesn't work, stop cleaning the piercing so often and make sure that you aren't using too much sea salt in the water. Also, stop using soap if you're using it to clean the piercing. Its very drying :)
