You don't loosen it, you pry it back to remove tension.
Pry up on the tensioner pulley.
Somewhere between the other pulleys.
You need a pulley puller.

beware , there is no keyway on the crankshaft , the pulley is only friction fit on the taper , so the propper tools are needed . hth
