lube the whell bearings once a year is usually all that is needed
yes.. To my knowledge the rear wheel bearings are lubricated with the differential gear lube as you drive.
They are a sealed bearing and are not greaseable.
Did you replace the race? Did you fully pack the wheel bearings with the proper lube? Did you torque them correctly? I suspect you are not doing one of these things. You are doing something wrong or this would not be happening.Did you replace the race? Did you fully pack the wheel bearings with the proper lube? Did you torque them correctly? Rear wheel drive the gear lube in the center also does the bearings. Front wheel drive the back wheels can either be greased as you would a front wheel bearing or they may be a sealed bearing that can't be greased.
It depends on the year, make and model of your vehicle, some hub/bearing assemblies are not serviceable and some are.
Assuming you have a 4+4, the front wheel bearings are a sealed unit and can not be lubed. If it is noisey or has play, the bearings must be replaced as a hub and bearing assembly. This part is available from your local auto parts store.
Yes, it's a good idea to smear a little assembly lube on the bearings when you put them in.
rear differential got lube? rear wheel bearings?
First check the level of the lube in the rear differential. If it is low add the correct weight lube. If not, then you have worn gears. Also check your rear wheel bearings as that is what you may be hearing.
use skateboarding cream/lube on your bearings. DO NOT SPRAY WD-40 unless you want to buy new bearings. wd-40 ruines bearings.
1.) Depends on the driving conditions, driving through water or salted roads. 2.) Depends on whether or not it was lubricated. Some wheel bearings are sealed so you can't lube them if you want to. 3.) Synthetic grease would make them last longer than if lubed with petroleum based grease.
