To create a Hero Chao, raise it using Sonic, Tails or Knuckles only and be sure to not mistreat it with these characters. When a Chao has reached its evolution stage it should become a Hero chao and unlock the Hero Garden if not unlocked already.
An alternate way is to abuse the Chao with a Dark character, Shadow, Rouge or Eggman, but this will shorten your Chao's lifespan and decrease it's chance of reincarnation.

You can only make hero and dark chao in SAB2. Also Sonic chao are neutral so if you give your chao a lot of run animals you will get a Sonic chao.

* firstly... if you get a devil chaos chao it will not eat the hero fruits that u can buy from black market... it will have the spiral above its head and it will through it behind, ergo dont keep it in hero garden because it will not be happy with you, it will eat the yellow fruits in hero garden but not the pink one
