A Powerpoint file created on a Windows computer can be shared with a Mac user. If the Mac has either Microsoft's Powerpoint or Apple's Keynote software installed they will be able to open a standard .ppt Powerpoint file as will the free NeoOffice and OpenOffice. (See links below)
