A classical guitar IS an acoustic guitar. Now, if you are asking, "How can I make a classical guitar sound like a steel-string flattop guitar", the answer is: You can't. The only way you could approach that is to put steel strings on the classical guitar, and if you do that, you WILL, not "maybe", FOR SURE, destroy the guitar. In fact, the bridge may pop completely off the guitar while you are tuning up for the first time. If you want steel-string sound, get a steel-string acoustic. Please don't ruin a perfectly good classical trying to get that sound. This is 45 years of being a guitarist talking, here.
the classical guitar is made up of six strings. they are used by either finger picking orswtrumming the srings to make sound. the way you strum the strings is by using a thing that looks like a rain drop called a pick. if you were to finger pick the classical guitar you would spread your fingers in between the strings then you would pick the srings up and let go of them
Classical Guitars use gut or nylon strings. Their sound is sweet and round, without the incisiveness of a steel-string. They are also, understandably, somewhat softer sounding (not as loud).

Nylon strings are lower tension in comparison to steel strings and have a warmer tone than steel string, thus making steel strings higher tension than nylon with a brighter tone than nylon strings.
Hi, I have an acoustic/classical guitar with nylon strings that has spruce top. The back and sides of the guitar are made out of catalpa wood.

It depends on personal preference classical music would be best played on a classical guitar, metal would sound best on electric acoustic is a different sound so it is up to personal preference
classical music :) all classical guitars are just the plain ol' nylon string guitar. it's usually used for learners and some bands prefer the classical guitar because it gives a lovely mellow sound.
classical or electric guitar does not matter. the only thing that matter is how well you play it, and it depends on your taste for music. if you love rock and roll, then go for electric guitar but if you like classical, i suggest you take classical guitar
