It is best to find two songs with similar bpm's (beats per minute) and preferably the same key. The "key" is to find sweet spots in the song where you can bring in one track and then let the other track loop during that part. Trust me, your looping tool will be your best friend once you start making serious mixes.
The most important part about djing is to have fun! Be creative and make your own style! If every dj sounded the same and used the same techniques, clubs would be super boring!
