You simply have to navigate yourself to the "tf" folder. You then put your custom sound pack into the file that reads "Sound". From there, if you want to remove it, just delete the file that you put in.

Your songs on iTunes are sound files. If you downloaded them from the iTunes store, they are .m4a files. If you downloaded them from elsewhere, they may be in a different format, but they are still sound files. To locate the files on your hard drive, simply right click on a song on iTunes and click "Show in Windows Explorer" (at least on Windows).

all the sound files for TF2 are stored in the "team fortress 2 content.gcf" file located in your steam/steamapps directory. to extract them you need to install gcfscape
