You increase all skills in the skillpoint menu...Increase speed first by the dribble course, turn off autosave if you don't get speed reload the profile. Get your speed to 97 first then when you receive 1 or 2 speed take of that amount of speed in the skillpont menu. This will give you more skillpoints to spend.

In my player mode you just have to get good stats in each game. I experimented this. I got good stats and managed to get out in 5 games. After a team calls you up you get a ten day contract and if you do well i guess you make the team permanately.
